Behind the Brand
With no particular love for the beauty industry and no job in sight, Jennelle Blackman found herself doing nails in her mother’s kitchen—just something to pass the time during a difficult period of unemployment. What began as a temporary fix slowly turned into something more.
As her skills sharpened and her client base grew, Jennelle moved into a salon space. Though she still felt disconnected from the industry, her attention to detail, unwavering care, and perfectionism began to speak louder than any doubt she had.
Over time, something shifted. The woman who once had no passion for beauty found herself reshaping it. Jennelle didn’t just adapt—she revolutionized the beauty industry in Guyana. Through innovation, boldness, and a relentless drive to deliver excellence, she became a respected leader and visionary.
